We collaborate with Universities

Information for universities

NEXUS is an ally of universities that works closely with their internship departments to facilitate the internationalization of their students.

For many, Spain is a first choice, either because of its haute cuisine (more than 180 Michelin-starred restaurants and a country that has revolutionised cuisine in recent years) or because it is a leading country in tourism (for years it has been among the top 3 countries in terms of receiving tourists).

On the other hand, some students do not master a foreign language and this can be a barrier to their internationalization. Spain is a great opportunity for all of them.

There is no need to stress the importance of internationalisation of internships for a student, as in addition to the practical training it provides, it is a unique and personal life experience. NEXUS accompanies the student throughout this experience.

Nexus with Universities

How do we work?

In accordance with Spanish legislation on internships, it is necessary to sign an educational cooperation agreement, so NEXUS will ask the university or school to sign this agreement.

Collaboration

We do not ask anything more from universities, simply the possibility of collaborating and working together in order to accompany the student throughout this experience.

Advice

NEXUS takes care of everything. From advice on destinations and positions, to the type of documentation required and how to obtain it, type of visa, immigration regulations, etc.

Follow-up

We support and accompany students, following up with them throughout their stay in Spain and providing them with a 24/7 telephone line.

Certificate

At the end of the internship, NEXUS sends the student's evaluation to the university along with a certificate and final report on the internship.

What is an internship like in Spain?

Doing an internship in a foreign country is not always easy. Among other reasons, because the learning system is very different, and culture shock can sometimes be severe.

At NEXUS we know this, and that is why before arriving in Spain we explain to the students that the internship is based on the motto “Learning by doing” and the principle of “trial and error”. We also warn them not to be worried about being treated differently. As a general rule, after a month, the students are fully integrated.

At the end of your internship you won’t want to leave!

Collaborating companies

Ally business

At NEXUS we collaborate closely with the HR managers of the companies or the department that manages the internships to make their task easier. It is not always easy to welcome a foreigner into your organizations, sometimes the regulations do not make it easy!

This is why NEXUS becomes a great ally, since we are in charge of not only proposing the right candidates, but also of carrying out all the administrative and bureaucratic tasks involved in regularizing the situation of the foreign intern.

And, in addition, we accompany the student throughout their experience, supporting them with legal requirements, doubts and possible incidents, acting as a bridge between the two, making the most important thing for EVERYONE ONLY the TRAINING and the use of PRACTICE, turning this into a great EXPERIENCE.

The NEXUS group has an entire legal department that advises and supports -not only foreign students- but also organizations and companies with all the legal procedures involved, not only in the immigration process for INTERNSHIPS, but also for STUDIES and WORK in SPAIN.
